Why do you need to fully recline the seat? I just finished replacing mine and I had to remove the entire seat.

The pic I saw showed that you could use the entire area for sleeping, without the back of the front seat 'bump'. It would be level with back section.
Interesting, mine can out great for me. First time attempting this type of project and applied all the internet tips I could find to preserve and bring back the original foam. I also added about 3/4” extra padding all around for a little extra plush and to be sure alll the material was full. I used cruiser corp covers. Not perfect but significantly better now. Maybe down the road I’ll splurge for some leather.
Lol, I can only imagine being ready for "activities" and saying "hang on, let me recline these seats" and then listening to the hum of the electric motor for the next 5 mins, while it ever so slowly reclined the seats.
