Full Floater RR

I have been reading that 45's came with a full floating rearend ? so what im asking is if my 67 does not does that mean its been swaped out and if not what years came with a FF rear end Thanks

My 77 pickup did. I know that Fogblankets LV didn't. I don't know if it depends on year or not.

I think it depended on the market it was made for. U.S. market, probably not. My '65 didn't have one and it was all stock/not swapped out.

I've had several 45s from 64 to 67, LWB, SWB, removable and fixed tops. None had a full floater and all appeared to have the original rear axle intact.

Could be wrong here but i do not think any that were brought into the states in the 60's originally had a FF rear end.

I think it was a date thing. We got them through the 70s but I've never seen one older than '75 with a floater.

AFAIK 75 was the 1st year of the FF in any market, US never had them, all 75+ CDN spec 45's did, all AUS did

I think it was a date thing. We got them through the 70s but I've never seen one older than '75 with a floater.
