Recently I smelled fuel and hopped out to see a pretty serious leak under my FJ40. I got it home and found that at the bottom side of my pump is a 1" cylinder (approx) that's about the diameter of a pencil on the weld. Fuel is spitting out when the engine is on and stops when it's off. It looks like it maybe was plugged or lost a screw but I can't see any threading in the hole. It's blowing fuel back towards the fuel tank and all other connections/lines are secure and there isn't any issue with the fuel filter. I can't find a picture of this online; anyone have any ideas if this should be replaced or if there's a part I'm missing or that rattled loose somehow? Thanks in advance,

most likely lost the diaphragm, hole in bottom is to let gas out when it leaks.
change the pump, make sure the oil pan is not full of gas also.
does the pump have 2 or 3 lines on it? 3 lines don't forget about the spacer.

Thank you 3_puppies; it has the three lines and I got a spacer to go with it as well. Do I need high-temp sealant against the engine block or just the gaskets? Thanks again,

X2 what @3_puppies said... Just want to stress "don't drive it if there's any chance there is gas in your crankcase"... Gas is not good for your engine internals. You may be a kid to sniff the dipstick... Any doubt, play it safely , change your oil and filter.
