fuel pump compatability

I have an 87 22re and i am pretty sure the fuel filter and/or pump is on its way out (shes falling on her face after 20mph, timing, vacuum, and tps are good). I have a spare fuel tank from a truck I cut up in my barn but its from an 89 3vze, are the pumps the same ?

Doesn't matter. Toyota is pretty consistent about using 40-45psi for their efi engines. Even if the pumps are not the same, the pump will work with your engine.

I miss my old '87 22R four-banger....one of the easiest motor to work on, well compared to my 2000 Taco 5VZFE V6 that is....
