Blingin' JDM wheels. Four wheels, no tires, $400 obo. Factory offset on an 80 is 0mm, these stick out 16mm.

Note: these are "super strong" and "the highest possible standard" :)

(8" / 2) - (16mm / 25.4) = 3.37" backspacing if my math is correct :D

I think you have to add the wheel lip thickness as the wheel width of 8" is inside to inside, while backspacing is the distance from outside lip to the inner mounting face.

Oh. Well I guess I'm more of a mathematician than a mechanic. Anyway it would be about 1/4" different to account for rim lip width.

Either way, somebody should buy my wheels :) And yes, they are "Lodio Drive". Which, as stated above, are very nice :)

Just flip the wheel over and put a straight edge across the top edges and measure the vertical distance to the back of mounting plate. This is what buyers need to know to clear the caliper. Let me know.

This measurement will indeed give you the backspacing. Unfortunately backspacing has nothing to do with caliper clearance. The dish or bell of the wheel will dictate weather or not the wheel will clear the caliper.

OEM is 3.5", most aftermarket are 3.75" or 4.25 ". The backspacing is your best single measure if the the wheel will fit, second to mounting it.

Well I didn't have the exact right length of straight edge, and I didn't have a small square to accurately measure the vertical distance, but as far as I can tell it's about 3.75" backspacing. Give or take 1/16th.

Glenn, if you are serious about my wheels, why don't you come over and we can try one on your truck? :) Gimme a call 250-220-2473 :D

I just bought 5 16" alloy Mickey Thompsons last Feb., otherwise I would have had a look. EBI in Port Moody sells the new ION alloy for $100 to club members (Coastal Cruisers)

I have E-Mailed a friend in Vancouver who may be interested in your wheels.
