I was recently involved in a minor rear end collision, which slightly damaged my rear bumper. I am working with Sean to build me another one with a few customizations. Once he finishes the new bumper, my current one will be up for sale.
The damage consists of a bent driver's side spindle. The vehicle that hit me struck the angled support bars of the basket swingout, pivoting it up into the rear hatch. The spindle bent where it connects to the main bumper frame.
It has some scratches from normal use, but is in pretty good shape aside from the accident damage.
Here are some pictures. I can take other specific pictures on request.
It is functional as-is, but because the spindle is bent, the grease seal probably wont seal properly, and the basket is pretty close to the rear hatch (but doesn't touch at all). It could probably be fixed with the right equipment / skills.
I am asking $1000 for the bumper with both swingouts (wheel not included). Priority will go to local buyers. If no local interest, I will consider shipping. I am hoping that my new bumper will be ready mid to late Feburary.
