On Monday, November 10, I ordered a new rear hub for my 1997 80 series from Front Range Off Road. They have been totally silent and have not responded to my emails of November 10 and 12 requesting information on when they would ship. They have a nice website showing all that they sell. Has anyone done business with them? If they fail to ship is there another source for a new rear hub besides Toyota?

I have. Did you try calling them?

It’s only realistically been two business days.

They are a small buisiness, not Amazon. Give them a call and see what is up or wait a few days. I am sure they will come through.

I have been dealing with these guys and they check email apparently once every 3 or so weeks.

Ordered a custom length draglink on 10/24.
After waiting a few days emailed and received no response.
They finally responded on 11/4, that they were expediting my shipping. Great!
I received the WRONG LENGTH draglink on 11/7. I promptly emailed them that it was wrong asking for how to remedy the situation.
No response until 11/12.
I've now submitted a return request, and am still waiting on a label.

The draglink looks good but I could've just bought and installed a slee by now.

After no response to my emails, I called this afternoon and was connected to voicemail. The recording said to make all inquiries through email. There has been no response in a week. A little exploring found a thread on Facebook,
It appears that lots of other prospective buyers have had trouble with Front Range Off Road. I'll order a new hub from someone else tomorrow.

Their customer service sucks. I have been buying parts from Brian for about 20 years now, you will always get your parts but don't expect them immediately. They are a very small company. A few years ago they hired someone to handle customer service and that person is terrible IMO. Also, if something is out of stock, there is no indication on the site and your order will not ship until they have everything in hand. I only order things that they manufacture, never been disappointed by a product but almost always by customer service.

I bought some drive flanges & knuckle studs back in early July, website made no mention of stock status either way. Knuckle studs shipped right away. After two weeks I got a reply saying the drive flanges would ship in 2 more weeks. In August I asked again and was told they were at the heat treater and it would be two more weeks. Finally the flanges showed up in mid September. If I'd have known 8-10 weeks at time of order I'd have been fine with it, I just don't like getting strung along.

Good products but not happy with customer service. Seen too many niche companies that act like that end up folding and take peoples money so I don't know if I'd buy again after that experience. Definitely get a confirmation on lead time before ordering, use a CC to purchase, and file any necessary disputes before your time runs up.

I ordered some spools from them way back when .. was told 4 to 6 weeks which was cool. 16 weeks later I called to find out where they where. I was told it was my fault for ordering from them. Cool thing is everything they make other companies now make with better customer service.

Had a terrible experience with my front and rear axle housings. Got them eventually but like way eventually (4 months longer than expected) and had to hassle and email constantly to get any communication. Also they forgot to add some bits to the housing that I paid for. Really is a bummer that they can't provide better service. I would stay away unless you are in no rush and don't mind being let down.
