I have a 2013 Land Cruiser, built 06/13, it has a drivers side mirror camera... What say you??? Next, 2013 roll call with build date...

Who will be the first to try to retrofit a driver's side camera on to an LX that does not have it? Any takers? :)

I’m all for tech and advancements and think the birds eye / 360 view is pretty neat on newer models, but I can’t see what a drivers side camera would show me that sticking my head out the window wouldn’t. . .

Hard to believe that a LC would be prioritized for electronic features before an LX, but who knows.

Can any 2013-2015 LX owners confirm they have a driver's side camera? I'd love to have one.
We (LC’s) got the radar cruise first :p

I never use my side cameras as I’m technologically agnostic

2013
Build 5/12
Has driver-side camera on the mirror.
Cycling "view button" shows front+passenger side; driver + passenger front/forward; driver +passenger rear... Reverse if transmission is in reverse

I think it’s clear that the LC has 4 cameras, and the LX’s only have passenger side camera (3 total). Right?

Well, The hardest part was getting all the engine cover pins popped out.

At the risk of beating a dead horse and because I had the same issue as you with the clips: To release those clips you actually push them in vs pry them out. Once ‘in’ they are released and easily ‘reset’ after you lift the cover.

I offer that because I’m a DIY guy who started working on cars in 1975 (minibikes 6yrs earlier) and I did it wrong the first time...
