Product looks awesome. The US dollar is getting crushed. I paid 9 bucks for a pint o' suds (several times) in Paris last week. 3000 Euro is just over $4500 as of March 6, 2008. Check again next week and it could be more. Still, if it's what you want to make your FJ40 like new, well, they're not making new ones anymore. Dave

The body is made of different thickness and There a different aluminum alloy

The laterals and floors are 2 mm thick and through 3 mm to 4 mm

I am looking for a conversion tool for measuring

In europe are practically the whole body with a reservoir beneath the floor

I planned to do on the two models

Any chance that you can make the rear wheel wells wider? Not much mind you maybe 38 mm each. It has always been a pet peeve of mine... the fact that the inner sidewall of tires rub there when articulating.

Use a 60 series axle they don't rub then even with 12.5's under:D

DMV here in New Jersey requires fenders to be long enough to cover the tires. I don't know how much wider the 60 axle is, but if it is too much, I would need extra wide fender flares. I am pretty sure that would look retarded. :)

No one asked about 45 bodies and pickup beds???????????

Nice work and I am only in the UK, there is hope.

I wonder is the trays could work as flat pack kit, final assembly and welding by the customer / customers welder?

So I hate to say it, but if you got a French tub, wouldn't you need a French drain?!?

Sorry, I had to do it...

Nothing better than a great bidet wheeling!;)

I have noticed the question has surfaced regarding the 1975-1978 tub for the FJ40. This takes the ambulance doors and has the gas tank under the left side drivers seat. Do you have plans to have these modifications available. Also, shame regarding the contact with SOR and Man-a-fre. The people on this site have always noticed that when these folks get involved the prices go up and may are priced out of the market. These companies seem to be catering to a growing group of restorers for collection type FJ40's and not 4x4 wheelers and daily drivers which want to keep their FJ40's on the road and not in the showroom.
