Acier = Steel
Aluminum
Inox = Stainless Steel

Euro to CDN = 1.47 (this morning)

So, a steel 42 body will cost about $6k, which is not bad considering. Of course, shipping wouldn't be cheap.

I guess Jay Leno has a few in his collection. Myself- I just like using vehicles for exploring the planet.

So his tubs look good, but does anyone have experience with working with them? How well do parts fit in them, tops, fenders, windshield, etc.

The price with shipping isn't bad, if it's quality stuff.

Fabien is a craftsman, everything fits the way it should. look at some photos of restos he has done: Teseven

There is a thread on going, a local here on the island just purchased a full stainless tub and is in the process of restoring his BJ42...

Think it was 16k for full tub door to door and not factory exact, some small details.

If you look on the first page of this forum towards the bottom, you will see the price of the tubs in Euros. $3800 for a 40 series steel tub, $4300 Aluminum, $5000 SSteel
