wow those look great...congrats...i have a feeling they'll be selling more for a more true restoration

I really like those tires. I know the ads show military NDT but I think this is really what we got. The military NDT tires just do not make sense for a vehicle used on the pavement.

The biggest market for these is going to be in 15" not 16" at least in the Land Cruiser market. Only stock 16'" land Cruiser imported to the US was the FJ25 which ended in 1960. By the time the next 16" was imported wa in 90 with the 91 FJ80 and these wouldn't be right for those. Not many tru FJ25 restoration going on. At least not enough for a tire supplier to fill there is a market for them in 16". I have a nice set of Dean tires on my white 25. While the white one is nice it't not what I would have a true restoration. Scrapping a good set of tires to use these would be a waste. For those using the 16" split rim it's a option but that really isn't a big market either. If we could convince Toyota to start making the non split 16" wheel for hub caps then we would have something.

For me I guess I could keep a set of 25 wheels and use them on a early FJ40 restore. Toyota does show the 25 wheesl on the FJ40 in the first few years of the FJ40 FSM.:hhmm:

Yeah tubes are on order. Mounting and balance on tuesady. I hate waiting for new toys! Unmounted they measure 31" and they are 7.5x16's. Its the only size they come in.

Thanks Johnny. I have to space out the spare tire carrier by about 1/2".

If you want to trade I have the correct early FJ40 spare carrier that is about a 1/2 taller but does not have the stud for lock. Might have to grind the washers that are welded on over the three studs.

Curious 2000 RPMs @ 45 MPH. 65 your going to be running around 2800RPMs Still seems high for the F135. But you could drive 85 MPH all day.
