Folks it’s time to upgrade your battery cable system… Any landcruiser I acquire, gets a set of “Mark’s Girthy Cables”, and yesterday my FZJ80 got a feel for Mark’s girth. Come along for the install, see the girth for yourselves as I compare them to less girthy stock cables.

Why do I need this?

For me I was chasing some “previous owner” gremlins as I reassemble this engine. So having fresh start with some quality ground and battery cables was worth the effort. Any older vehicle has a potential for the wiring to go tits up, corrosion or animals, and Marks kit is a decent upgrade. If everything’s tip top, you probably don’t need it.

I bought Mark's cables as well. One of my grounds was missing and another was in horrible shape.
