Do the front shocks also assist in carrying load? I find that interesting that they would put lighter bars up front like that. I'll keep an eye out for sumbody upgrading.

All four shocks are part of a hydraulic system with a reservoir and pump under the hood. It allows you to change ride height, handling characteristics (comfort-sport,) and helps stabilize the vehicle in hard corners and emergency maneuvers. Lighter t-bars and coils are needed to allow for all this. Our LX had the AHC fail with the previous owner and they chose to have an aftermarket set-up made by Suncore Industries installed. They don't have anything on their site for an LX anymore, but what I have resembles what they show for a GX.
Coilovers up front to account for lighter t-bars and I reckon something like standard coils and shocks to replace those in the rear.

I’m gonna list my 100 Series for sale next week, in case anyone is looking or knows someone who is. Here are the rough specs:
2000 LC, 233k miles, solid mechanically everything works from sunroof, to buttwarmers, but has bumps and bruises that any 18 soccer mom mobile would. No rust underneath, recent front axle replacement, and all maintenance up to date. It is sitting on Tundra 18s with 295 Nitto Trail Grapplers, but I have the stock wheels and some other stock parts to go as well.

I have an 89 FJ-62 and I believe the transmission clutches are shot. Does anyone have an A440 transmission for sale? Has anyone had one rebuilt in the Knoxville area?

I don't really want to do it, but I have to sell my Lexus LX470. I'm driving a bit more than I thought that I would and I need something a little better on gas. If ya'll know anyone, let me know. I will drive it to Knoxville as I would also give me an opportunity to see some of you guys. It is a 1998 Lexus LX470. It has 155,xxx and will go up as I drive it daily. The AHC works as it should, I also have a set of OME shocks to go with it towards a conversion. It has an ARB front bumper, Slee diff drop, Warn M8000 winch and new 285-75r16 Falken AT3's. I will send any info and pictures to anyone interested. I'm asking $6200 obo.

Selling my almost new Rhino Rack Foxwing 2.5 Vehicle Awning, passenger side. It was maybe on my Land Cruiser for 3 or 4 months total. Always stored in the garage when on and off the Cruiser. $495 firm or may do some trading on some Rock Warrior wheels.

Despite my best efforts, the wife is not enamored with the LX470 we bought about 15 months ago. It is too "utility" for her and she wants something more kid-friendly (and that gets better gas mileage). She wants something else, but we're not in a hurry so I thought I would post in the event anyone might be interested or know someone who might be interested.
It's a 2007 LX470 Limited Edition. About 125k miles. Clean, stock, etc. Timing belt done right after we bought it at 108k miles. I've done brakes (pads all around and new front rotors) and I replaced the heater tees. Regular oil changes, etc. TPMS light is on due to a bad sensor, but that's it. Everything works.
Anyway, if anyone has any interest, let me know. Thanks.

Front seats from my 1996 fzj80. Gears replaced in both seats a few thousand miles ago with gamiviti. Passenger side front-back control works but is a little finicky. Drivers side bottom leather redone sometime before I purchased the cruiser. $200 for the pair.TN
