A buddy of mine is selling his truck. I have not seen this truck personally, but I have seen other vehicles that he has built and his attention to detail is very good. Here is the info he sent me:

"I built this truck back in 2008 for the most part. Started life as a standard cab, base model 4wd, 22r, IFS and no power steering. It was my daily driver in California before I moved. It’s been on many snow trips and through the rubicon once. I haven’t driven it in probably 2 years, but she fires right up.

Down side:
It’s not registered in Oregon, as far as I know it needs a VIN inspection for that, which I’ve been too lazy to do. The exhaust needs to be reworked since I installed the header. And the evap system needs to be ran, unless he is outside of DEQ required area. Front axels need new seals f or slow leak. Needs a new windshield. Needs carpet or bed liner floor

Here is what I can think of so far:

1986 Toyota Pickup, standard cab frame

Motor:

22re less than 6k miles on rebuild (new clutch at that time)
Reground cam
MSD ignition
Trailgear Rock Crusher header (open exhaust from there for now)
1993 fuel injection/wiring

Body:

Extended cab swapped (1987)
Front of bed bobbed for cab
2” body lift to clear frame for cab swap
Trailgear rock sliders
Rattle canned OD green
Rear slider window
2nd set of doors(project half doors)

Interior:

1993 dash
Gen 3 4Runner bucket seats
3 spoke steering wheel
JCV radio with speakers installed in both sets of doors

Suspension/running gear:

Chevy 53” rear springs
Dual rear shackles
SAS
Trailgear high steer
5100 series shocks (16”?)
Front axel gusset
Diff armor front and rear
5.29 gears
Lincoln locker in rear, open front
Hancook 35/12.50/15 on 15x8 wheels
IFS Brake calipers w/vented rotors
Square tube front driveline
Stock case"

He is asking $4,500 obo and is located in Gresham. Let me know if you are interested and I will put you in touch with him!

Yep GP Toyota came through with brand new take offs for $100 each. Decent tire too. Getting put on now.

I might have a set of white steel 16's that I got from Kief a while ago..... I can have my dad take a look if you want? Free if you want them.

Thanks Jippy, just needed the rubber not the wheels. It's got the stock aluminums on it now.
