I hate that it's not working for you. If everything falls through, swapping it back to auto wouldn't be all that hard. Clarence swapped the tranny in his old truck in a weekend, and pulling the manual is a 15 minute job.

Plus, you would have a full kit ready for someone else who wanted to do the swap. Finding the pieces was the hard part so you could probably make some money back.

That being said, it shouldn't be hard to get it sold and find a nice replacement.

That's what I felt. Also I was like "it would be good kit" then I was like... but it's in there already!... so that's why I wanna trade it to someone... you know I love it, just can't work it.

No cash yet. Looking to trade. Got one lined lined up and a good deal for both of us.

Anyone have a pair of 80 series shocks lying around after an upgrade?

I think one of my front bilsteins is blown and I don't wan't to buy anything now before I figure out exactly what I want to do for the new lift.

I have a pile of 80 parts sitting in my basement. Not sure if there are shocks in there. It's your old stuff though, so figure'd you might know :).

hmm, I don't think so.

I'm pretty sure I have my front shocks left from my recent upgrade

excellent, just let me know.

I need to get over there and get all this stuff. Even if I just leave it in the back of the cruiser...
It's nothing I need, but I know it's in your way.

Your shocks were SHOT with a capital "da ***".

They are probably shot like Eric said. When you compress them they have resistance but they don't uncompress like new shocks.

I got them. Even in an OME shock box

They act like ranchos.... even though they shouldn't.
My original shocks on Catty would compress no matter what you did. Pull them to length and they'd return to compressed. LOL

Ha! The red FJ60 has something > 300k on the odometer. I'll rack up another 500+ over the next few days as I'm headed back up to NW AL. Creeper Alert - I'll be rolling through Birmingham, be on the watch.

that is beautiful. and a good price.
