Well... Clarence, what was the selling story? Did he act as if he was going to keep it? I have myself sold to people that I knew where going to flip them, so it's not this guys fault unless he made false claims to Clarence.

He did not give me any hint that he was trying to flip it. In fact he was telling me his mom had an lx450 back in the day and he remembered how awesome they were. He said he was just wanting something new to wheel with his buddies.

In the end I chose to sell it to him and I let it go cheap because I just needed to get away from it.

It was for sale on mud for years and all I got was tire kickers one guy told me he was going to pay me what I was asking "by Friday" that was about 6 months ago.
I really wanted to get to some one who would enjoy it for what it was but no one would take it.

Not my problem any more.

But there's a reason... I can't drive a stick. LOL. It hurts too bad. My legs, knees and back KILL me when working the pedals.
Now. It's truly only for sale to keep the integrity of all the work that Matt has put into this swap. It's awesome to have a manual 80, period.
If I can't sell for what I need out of it... or trade someone that has an 80... then I'm going to swap it back to an automatic Full-Time 4WD.

I know! That's why I wanted it... Just wrong time for me in my state. It deserves someone who can drive it without hurting and wrench on it without driving across town to the shop...
 
I got a minivan ill trade you for it, it's low to the ground, really low maintenance, good gas mileage, ill even throw in the DVD players in the back seat and all the copies of Barbie and Lego Star Wars that we have on DVD. :D

Seriously though ill pass it around up here that your wanting to trade/sale and try and get se bites.

I think RSharp wanted pics of me. Not sure why, he knows what I look like. He's been in my motor-house.

Working a deal right now. It's a VERY beneficial deal for the both of us... if something happens I'll holler.

I hate that it's not working for you. If everything falls through, swapping it back to auto wouldn't be all that hard. Clarence swapped the tranny in his old truck in a weekend, and pulling the manual is a 15 minute job.

Plus, you would have a full kit ready for someone else who wanted to do the swap. Finding the pieces was the hard part so you could probably make some money back.

That being said, it shouldn't be hard to get it sold and find a nice replacement.
