That's the plan for my 60. A 5 speed with 4:10s and 33s. I want this for more overland stuff and a daily driver. As soon as I sell my tacoma and finish rebuilding the transmission and transfer case I will start daily driving this. Hopefully the Tacoma will sell soon.

From the thread in the 60 series forum - are you now in the process of an installation of a 5 speed? I have a tap and maybe extra plug for the t-case.

My 60 is setup with 4.11s, 5 speed, 255/85/16s. I pass through Birmingham occasionally and we may be able to meet up.

Godwin, I would love to check out your rig next time you are passing through. I work out of town, but if I'm home I'm not working. It looks like I'm picking up an H55 from bhmmapping and rebuilding it and the transfer case this week in my basement. Do the 80 axles have the same offset as the 60 and if not is it a big deal?

That was his H55. So he can answer any questions!

Also, the biggest concern you'll have with those axles is cutting off the coil spring perches and welding leaf spring perches on.
Both axle sets have a passenger side offset.

Cool. Doesn't sound like a bad install. I know the axles are a couple inches wider. Will 60 wheels fit on them?

"some" 15" steel wheels will fit over the calipers. however, I do not think that FJ60 steel wheels will.

I might have a deal on some 31s from planet isuzu.

If I got 1/2 what the bfgs are new on tire rack id think about selling them. Otherwise I don't have the $$ on hand to do any tire swapping.

I wouldn't be able to get the other tires before the first of dec.

via mobile app.

B.Paul, you need to come get these rubbers! I'd meet you halfway if need be. Somehow someway I gotta get some other ones so I can load all these units in the tundra and meet you... there's like 53 spares. I swear!

Honestly, I was doing like 75 on the interstate, and there's only like one spot from 35 to 40 that it likes to wobble, then smoothes out. If I had a location I could break these rims down and adjust them... I'd prolly keep them and then buy some of the BFG AT's off eBay that fit them....

But honestly, you want them... you can have them. They work great for the H42 gearing...

Looking for 37" or 35" MudT's or AT's.... rims size don't matter.
Holler if you got some, know some, and wheels would be cool too...

How much it's that Zack?

they are 167.

I need to put kaits tires on my trooper to make sure 31s fit. I dont want to look like this.

Eric, I can meet you in Cullman just about any day this week. There is a rest area there that would be ideal.

I know the one you speak of.
However you can't park on the same side, as to not confuse the people who actually use it. And we'd both have to keep going the opposite direction. No?

I once that I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

I've got the perfect set for you. 36" TSL SX radials on 15x8's. You might not like the price though.

X2 and you have a deal!! They aren't clapped out either :)

You better retract that! LOL!
I wish I could! I got a set of 35" AT's I've already spoken for, and picking up tomorrow... nearly the same price! DANG!
How do these do on the road? Pretty balanced? If you have them in a few months. I might pick'em up from you at GSMTR!

edit: aw screw it... juss leav'em on the 40 and gib me the whole truck!
