I'm putting a new transmission in it next week. UGH. There's actually nothing wrong with the trans... but a solenoid in the valve body is bad, and since there's 8 in there and at $250/ea.. and not knowing which one it is... it's cheaper to buy a whole new trans... Thanks Toyota!

This thing HAULS THE MAIL! It will go 120 down the hiway, tows like NO OTHER. Very comfortable. If you've never driven a 5.7 motor'd rig... hold on.
I'm going to ask around $15k, cause I need more from it... but willing to take a huge loss to get out of it and back into something I can use. It's got it's share of dents and dings. It's been used a truck, not a car.
If interested, lemme know! I'd also let you take over the note if you want! I bet the credit union would work with whoever... and I could sweeten the kitty a few thousand...

My 80 is still for sale.
Sunroof is broken, power steering pump needs to be adjusted, clank told me how I have just never done it. Will said he rebuilt it already.
I would put a better battery in it, iv had problems since I replaced the Factory battery with an advance unit.
Locked rear end. Beefy rear LCAs. Some extra bits I accumulated over the years and never installed.

Took those old faded to yellow center caps and painted them to look real nice. Just did them a couple of days ago. After driving for a little, I now have three.

Anybody got one to match the 97s to sell. Or maybe take them all off.

I bought the set off that red parts truck luke had sitting in my yard for a few years.
after a week I gave them back to him I knew it was only a matter of time before I lost one. I figured Id spend my money on something else.

I'm pretty sure that all 80's once they reach ten years old, ONE center dissolves. Leaving three.

I've already talked to Godwin after, and I went and looked at this rig today after the seller sent me about 10 pics. Got there, thinking this might be the one.
They've owned it since 97. Never did the HG, nor the PHH. "CEL just came on".
Get there. the sunroof is stuck open. both seats are off track, assume broken, but motors work. Every seal needs replacing: oil pump seal, valve cover, knuckles, EVERY seal. Crank it, starts dripping coolant out the tailpipe, blowing smoke. HG is blown.
Put xfer case in L, CDL will not engage. Tried working it a few minutes but nothing. I doubt it had EVER been in Low range.
My heart said "It can be saved" but My mind said "Not at $3000 Firm"... and I honestly am not sure I would want to tackle this "ground up" project even if he would sell it for $500.. I didn't ask. I just politely passed. Super nice guy though.

A stock unit is normally untainted. What's yours got "above" stock anyway? A lift? an ARB front bumper?
Also, you put a factory locked axle in the rear correct? Does it work? You use the OEM harness? Did I mention IH8 factory lockers since they all seem to break when used with 35+ sized tires. Did I mention that I use these rigs when I buy them?
You've been offering your rig for a while now, you don't want to sell it, you want to talk about selling it. Know how I know?... Cause it would be gone if you really wanted to sell it. I didn't even really want to sell #6 and I sold it. It was easy.
So post a REAL price and sell it.
