$7000 sounds kinda rich for how that looks. What do y'all think? I've a '94 with 120,000 miles with factory lockers that I haven't considered selling because I didn't think it would bring me much over $6000...

The seller is mjl132, he was asking for opinions on value a few posts back in this thread.

7K is optimistic, two other nice 80's in the club won't sell for 4500.

120K for a 94 - it might do better than you think in the mud classifieds. Seems like people are willing to pay a premium for low miles lately.

In that case,I guess I will have to keep mine until I die. 343,000 miles and counting. Most people would never even consider buying mine for what I would ask for it.

That's why I put it on Craiglist. What I want and I'll get are two different things. But if I stick on Mud at $7000 I'll get plenty of feedback I'm sure that will just frustrate me. As my Dad said, it's worth what someone will pay for it.

Anyone have an old weber kettle grill they are willing to part with?

Looking for the 22" size and I really am only looking for the lid and possibly the grate.

I don't think a day goes by I don't wish I had a 40 with an OEM soft top.

I was daydreaming so hard the other day I slammed my foot into the firewall because I thought I needed to push the clutch in.

I think I'll regret selling the bows, but w/o a reliable replacement top maker I was afraid to drill that many holes in my 40. I LOVE the way the canvas tops look but I'm just not sure Alabama is the right climate for it.

Because of recent events, I had to pass on a 98 LX470 at auction locally... it seems to be a sweet rig. And most likely could've been gotten for a nice price. But I woulda had to borrow monies and I'm still trying to get this Tundra ready for a huge loss when I sell it.
BUT, I will need an 80 or 100 when I finally sell this tundra... hopefully within the next half year... I'm so dang ready! Tired of having two tow rigs and no wheelers!

Looks like it's called for now, but, I personally wouldnt worry about having to replace the top in the future. Even if yours is damaged several people in the 40 forum have reported good luck with getting tops from people who make custom boat canvas or upholstery shops and if they had your original as a reference it should be no problem at all. I am pretty sure Acc said they have a source for replacement tops but it has been years since I read that... AND troll hole put on Facebook a while back that he was working on a source to replace he who shall not be named.

Designing a top from scratch/drawings and measurements is one thing, but patching a top or making a copy from one in hand, anyone with the necessary equipment should be able to crank a top out.
