I found a white 1996 being parted out in Opp, AL. I am getting flares and a fender from him and a few other things. Is anybody else interested in parts from a 96 80. Had locked axles but they're gone. Motor is bad I was told too.

appears to be a plain ole 97, the wheels are not two toned and the badging ain't there, Did he tell you it's a 40th?
I need a set of 16" tires for a stick Durango if anyone has a spare set they'd like to sell.
Honestly didn't know there was a difference in the 97s and the 40th. I thought they were synonyms. That's what I get for assuming.

not enough there to even warrant a resto... at this point, I don't even see any salvageable parts. I saw it and double backed a few months ago driving around... I posted pics of it on FB.
I agree with the you on the restore but it does have some sellable parts. Speedo, dash pad, heater, tranny, dash knobs, glass, hard top, spare tire carrier, seat brackets, front bib, axles etc ...
