And what's a "split cast"? Or did you mean split case?

Split case... I know of some, non-local, but can get them fairly easy with Mardi Krawl coming up next month.

Split case. . I bought an FJ55 out of Sacramento California. It's got a bad engine so I'm picking up a 4bt out of Indiana while I'm close for work. I still need a nv4500 and a split case to put the drive train together.

Do you know how much for the transfer case?

I don't specifically know anyone actively selling one... I just know lots of people who either have one or have access to one.
If you are not going to the Mardi Krawl next month, I am, and could bring it back. Check on other clubhouses and ask around.
I know some CottonLanders that may have one.
@Bossman may have one. He loves swapping stuff, if you may have something he may want...

I'm excited. I'll post pictures when I get it. I'm going to try to use fj80 coils and torsion bars if I can get the parts for cheap. Power steering and I'm on my way to pick up the 4bt.
