DANG. too bad I'm in this hunnerd and need my DD to also be a hauler when need-be.
My "owning a blue 80" has been put on hold for a few years. Guess I'll wait until I have to pay a premium price like foks is paying for 60's now...

Anyone have a " MAF" sensor( apparently it has different names) for a 91 cruiser laying around? My mechanic is a dumb ass and broke it when trying to move it out of the way. and by " my mechanic" i mean myself. Grahams has one but by the way i was quoted for a part last time i called I'm not even bothering with calling them yet. On a budget and would be happy to barter if you need anything i have. Speaking of i do have slee caster correction and metal tech spacer that i never used

MAF's have delicate elements in them. Easy to F'up, not cheap to replace.
looks something like this:

i didnt want to fubar it up anymore once i knew i had already screwed up. Im assuming that is what is under the black part that appears to be glued on. I have access to the 93+ one but not to one for 3fe.

thank you ! judging by this: "I've got a 91 w/ a 3FE and I made the classic bonehead move and tried to remove the AFM connector by taking out the 2 screws....DOH! :whoops" i think im in the right area.

I didnt even think it was possible to repair. thank you again for your help.

Well that link didn't work. Go to Car-parts.com, plug in year, model, make, etc. and use air flow meter as the part. This will pull up a used parts list from across the country. Graham wants $150 and is the highest.

Hey if you can't get it fixed I may have a donor rig for you... lemme know

A donor would be awesome. I haven't soldered in years. And was a rookie when I did. More of a watching scenario. Yeah Eric told me about Grahams a while back. I called today just to see and she said 150.00. They have another one for 200.00. They are a joke. But hey free enterprise. Thanks Godwin I'll check it out.

I'd make sure what ever your getting works before paying at Graham's i was screwed over by them about 5 years ago and 4 years before that buying overpriced parts in questionable condition with poor service. Screw that guy and I am the type of person who gives people many chances.

I have heard that same experience from a couple people. My FIL owns a foreign car parts in AR that i usually get all my parts from. but he only had the 93/94 and up. Plan is to Solder the old one this week. If i screw that up I will go from there. Thank you everyone for the help and insight.
