I have a gentleman that bought a top from Ehsan in our group that no longer owns a fj40. He asked if I could sell it for him instead of me shipping out to him. Its tan and will fit a 1974 and older. let me know if anyone is interested. He wants to cover over all cost: $900.00. You pay for shipping.

Ed I thought your was a 1979. This is for a 74 and older.

Yes roll-up sides, NO quarter windows. This was Ehsan newest material, the window are welded to vinyl. This is not a canvas. There is not one those that got rain damage in case you are wondering. Also if interested send me an offer and well see what the owner thinks.

Mine is a '78. You are right. I'm not drilling sheot either.

Pillars won't work on yours, they're somewhat bent towards the bottom but everythhing will.

oem tops fit all year fj40's...there is no difference size wise...the difference is in the rear door configuration...74 and older uses the tailgate or barn doors...75 and newer uses ambi doors...ehsan makes the ambi door version oem top for the 75 and newer rigs...but the older style 63-74 will fit any year.

if you run the bugcatcher wingwidow doors...you will have a problem sealing the top bow above the door...these doors required a special bow that had the weatherstripping on it.

Sold the top. I got the top back from Georgia Friday and sold it Saturday for 850. Rechecked paperwork and 850 is what actually was spent on the top.
