No affiliation, just interested in the forum's assessment. I currently own an '84 RHD Troopy in excellent condition but part of my Troopy sickness makes me think that if one Troopy is good, Two troopies would be twice (or more?) as good?!

I love the idea of a diesel LHD but really, really dislike the idea of purchasing a sight unseen troopy from Costa Rica.

The auction says the truck is located in Florida. Id go take a look at it.

It's not. It's another Asade listing.

Just look for threads started by her (don't refer to her as a he, she gets upset with that) and you will see what the concesus is.

I'm not a big fan of that bed liner only because I know from experience that it's the easiest way to make something really ugly look presentable. I like painted surfaces (like below) much better. No way I would touch that one with seeing it in person.

Are those 70 series front turn signals turned on their side?

Leo Antencio is a guy from Florida and the seller. He has been finding low mileage grey market LHD Land Cruisers in Costa Rica and shipping them to the USA. It is a business for him and his wife.

Ebay buyer protection plan protects the buyer.

The vehicles get shipped by container ship to either Florida, Texas or New York. Look for USA shipper to transport the truck to your front door.

I had a client looking for 45 Long bed when I found this guy.

Sure there is no kick the tire inspection of the vehicle but look how many people purchase LC from Australia.

Honestly, these vehicles WILL sell in the US, why not just bring them here and then put them up for sale... I guarantee that this guy would get a lot more sales that way. I agree that bed liner is there just to hide things... I wish they would import cheap beat up diesels that way we can fix them here in the US... At least you would kind of know what you are buying...
