77 fj40 project for sale in Atlanta

I have a 77 fj40 landcruiser for sale. The body is in good shape with only two minor blemishes. It is complete minus the motor, trans, and transfercase. The front seats have already been sold. It is completely disassembled and ready for restoration. It does have the hard top, and all 4 hard doors. This truck is a great starting platform for anyone looking to build a FJ40. Please email me at sw20fj40@yahoo.com. I don't have access to a computer while on the road but can check my email with my cell phone. So for a prompt response email me. Asking $4000 obo.

Thanks

John

'97 FJ80 w/ Factory Lockers, 131k miles, $15k

I had it up for sale a few months ago, but that thread is pretty stale so I started a new one, hope the mods don't flame me...

Well, I'm not in any real rush to sell my Sage colored '97 Land Cruiser, but I just put too many miles on it and the gas is killing me.

I bought the car in mid Sept out of Rochester MN. That owner was the second owner, they bought the car from Chicago. In the last 7 months I've put 22k miles on it, 90% of them are highway. I've been driving from Fargo ND (where I live) to Minneapolis about 3 times a month (about 600 round trip)

The color is Antique Pearl Sage, the interior is 2 tone. It has auto climate and factory lockers that work great. Never off-roaded since I've owned it, but I have run it through some deep snow w/ it locked in. When I bought it I put on 31 x 10.5 BFG AT KO's and I love them. Car drives straight, the paint is in great shape as is the interior.

Aftermarket parts:
-BFG AT KO's
-It has upgraded Slee light harness
-HIR lights
-Front brush guard (manix brand?)
-Brand new toyota brake rotors and pads on all 4
-All fluids done w/ synthetic
-Trailer hitch
-Tinted windows

The only flaw is a small bubble starting, under the rear window, about the size of a quarter - i have a pic of this too.

I have all the papers from the previous owner, he's a Toyota fanatic and did a lot of work on it. He replaced this FJ w/ an FJ80 that was built to go off road, I replace my fj60 w/ this truck.

In this part of the country I think $15k is a pretty good price. I have a lot of pictures that I can email out.

1979 FJ40 For Sale

I'm gearing up to move to Nashville, TN, via Evansville, IN and my wife is going to be attending grad school. It's breaking my heart, but there's simply no way I can keep my cruiser and pay rent, etc., etc. I'm already behind on the bills and I haven't even moved yet, so... I'm doing the unthinkable and hopefully one day, I can buy another cruiser.

Anyhow, I've got a 79 Fj40 with a 2F. The mileage is exempt due to a locked up odometer, however, the P/O was a farmer, it locked up at 87,000, then the P/O I bought it from said he put 10k on it.

It has a Holley Carb, 4" skyjacker lift, 2" shackles and 36" Super Swamper Radials. I do have the original wheels with 31" tires as well, but they're in storage.

In the last year, I replaced the fuel pump and filter, put on a new clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced, installed a CD player and speakers.

Like I said, it's my pride and joy, but something has to be done. I paid 7k for it last July, I owe $6300 and would like to get $6k out of it.

Pictures are below and if anyone has any questions, e-mail me at adistler@evansville.net

1987 Stick Shift,2900$

Hi,I am a new and temporary owner of a 1987 LC ,stick shift,4 speeds, stock, original paint,150K miles, all the books and service records from the last 10-12 years.I bought the truck recently and its slow , noisy at high speed,I just cannot use it in the busy hwy commute, daily,so,somebody will get a great deal...
I had a 1996 before,so,I am use to the newer ones, this one is just a off road vehicle, its a dog on the road...
Color dark grey metallic(original paint)/gray cloth, very clean inside and trunk.
AC blows ice cold
Motor sounds very healthy, all stock including the carburator fan... thick stack of records from previous owner.
Clutch is perfect,shifts great,smooth 4x4.
Michelin tires in great condition, strong brakes
Recent shocks.
XM radio and CD player...
Issues, not many, some rust on the drivers side only, front fender on the bottom and bottom of rear panel, nothing else noticed.
Considering how clean it is I dont think anybody use it off road or hauled anything with it,just not what I need.
