*SOLD* 1977 FJ45 for sale
Well here goes,
$7,500 Canadian dollars (approx $6230 USD)
1977 Canadian FJ45 with 84,300 original miles on it
The alloy rims are not included, these were just a temp thing until I dug out a better set of split rims and rubber. I'll get more pics with the split rims on it.
Yes, this is one of those gems that was found in a barn!
2F, 4 speed, full floater, power drum brakes (larger then FJ40 drum brakes)
All factory except front bumper
Original paint on all sheet metal except for some spray can touch up in a few spots
Excellent floor mat and door panels, seat belts look like new, a working factory AM radio
This FJ45 was a farm truck for most of its life
First owner bought it and hardly used it
Second owner (brother of first owner) bought it and used it on his farm
Yes, this Cruiser has seen some work and you can see some small dents in the box.
The Cruiser stopped being used when the PO's son dropped a bunched of slugs in the fuel tank, real slugs!
This caused the Cruiser to get parked in the barn while Daddy fixed the tank. The tank got cleaned but never re-installed. The plates expired in Oct 1994 and the FJ45 sat in the barn since then.
We changed the all the fluids, brake fluid, tune up, some new hoses, new fuel line, re-cleaned and painted the tank, brand new rad, fixed the wipers, replaced shocks, put on another set of factory tires with split rims, replaced hood with a dent free one, replaced running board on passenger side, cleaned brown crunchy stuff from cab floor, started removing oxidation from paint.
There is some rust on this cruiser but it's minimal
There is a rust hole on the rear passenger’s floor corner below the tank and rust holes that should be taken care of on the lower rocker panel.
The front bib has some bubbles that no doubt will have holes below it. If I can find a good bib, I toss it in the deal.
The rest of the body is very solid. The original paint is thin in places.
I’ve driven the FJ45 for a few hours and it handles and drives great on radial tires, it starts right away, brakes are great, squeak and rattle free, smoother ride then a lot of FJ40’s I’ve been in, all electrical/gauges work, and no painted weather stripping.
I have a lot of pictures of this FJ45. I’ll post up the most requested pics but the rest I’ll just send off as needed. If you require pics of something I forgot to take pics of, I’ll get them for you.
I’m located in Coquitlam, BC, Canada. The buyer is responsible for all transportation charges, taxes, filing fees, export charges etc.
