69 fj-40

I have a 69 fj-40 disassembled down to the frame with the power steering plates welded on, and ready for sandblasting and paint. my body is in fair shape with rust in the normal areas. i have the 69 f engine which is in great shape and a 78 2f, 4spd, and 3spd transfer case mated together. i have vintage a/c ready to be put in when reassembled. i have 3 three speed trannys and 3 transfer cases( 1 with vaccum shift). the hardtop for the cruiser is in good shape. i will take pics and post them tonight of alot of the stuff i have. the front axle is mini truck conversion disc brakes and rear drum brakes. there is a rear rollbar, jump seats, front mercedez benz bucket seats. i also have a steering colum in great shape from a 74-78 cruiser, year unknown with keys(for the PS conversion)!!

i unfortunately dont have the time or money to spend on the cruiser now because i am back in school. i do not want to part it out! I live in WInston-salem NC and you can reach me on email at sdwilcox@triad.rr.com. best offer takes all!!

Thanks
Spence

to me thats alot, but I'm on the other side of the country. I've bought rigs running and all put together for less.

I'm gonna be a good boy

and post it here:

$7200 buy-it-now for a '96

Item #:4512555343

Even if you have to do some minor repairs it would still be a pretty good deal.

Anyway, sorry if someone from here was eyeing (eying?) that one, but I guess this might also benefit a few that did not know about it.

I wish I were in a position to be able to buy it myself!

Merry Christmas!!

Tempting although he claims it was a family car yet he's sold 2 or 3 other vehicles on e-bay which makes him sound more like a dealer. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

78 FJ40 in GA

I am considering taking on another project and figured I need to sell the 40 project. At the present time, it is disassembled (hood, fenders, top, windshield, seats, roll bar) removed getting ready for paint. Has typical rust on rr quarter panel. Floors were rusty, but they have been cut out and ready for new metal. Frame is solid. I believe the Cruiser originally came from AZ.

Runs and shifts great
Aftermarket A/C (not sure if it works)
Hard top
SOR soft top with doors
Conferr aux. fuel tank
8000lb Warn Winch
Conferr tool boxes
Metal Tech Family Cage (new still wrapped in plastic waiting to be welded up)
I am sure there is other stuff I am forgetting.

Needs paint. Body, windshield frame, and top are different colors

$5,000 OBO

I did a Carfax on this LC and it has one owner only. Passed emmision 2x in IL. Other than that.... It seems like it checks out.

He says he's the second owner.
