1982 FJ60 110k new a/c, starter, brakes, head, MSD 6a box and wires, plugs, 456's DET front, welded rear, ARB bull bar and side bars ( braced) 12K Warn winch LOTS of hella lights, custom rear bumper, 2 1/2 BDS springs 1 1/4 JT shackles new 331250r15 swampers, Con-ferr roof rack no rust factory paint looke good. tint, C/D and C/B. 79 FJ40 north bend, wa

Neighbor has an early (Nov 78) 1979 FJ40 for sale. If is basicly all stock (6 cyl engine, 4 speed trans, I think 4.10 gears (later 79s were 3.73 gears)) Has rust in ALL the usual places. The gas tank is still under pass seat, not under body.

Asking $2900 OBO Says he wants it gone now. (said he'd take 2 grand!!!) Has new black rockcrawler wheels with 31-10.5 / 15 wildcat mudders (Les Schwab). Has new brakes. All rust is included for free.

This would be a good trail rig. I don't think it would be a restore candidate unless you bought a new tub.

It's not a 62, but I have an 1985 60 forsale in Chicago. Some rust in the normal places. All very repairable. Upper/lower gate clean. Light blue on gray interior. Runs great, interior shows well. 4 speed, a/c. Shows 50k miles on odometer, but it's not actual miles. Asking $3500.
