Is the rust repairable or beyond the point of no return? If it's just the edges of the wheel wells and tailgate then I'd be interested. My 81 is rusted way beyond repair and I'm looking for a body/ frame donor. Sound's like it'd be good enough to drive up to Steamboat Springs, No? I don't need to worry about emmisions up here either.

1989 FJ62 anyone?

$5,000.00 obo

Just thought I would see if anyone in the area was interested or not before I put my cruiser on the market. She has 221,xxx miles on her, engine runs good, body is solid with one rust spot coming up behind the passenger side rear wheel. Right now she has 31x10.50 bfg at on aluminum wheels with about 7,000 miles on the tires. I have the original wheels that will go with her if someone buys her. Has a yakima roof rack. Interior is in good condition, dash pad has a small crack that is covered by a gps mount. Tranny was rebuilt by previous owner and was recently serviced by Urban Landcruisers. I had a new kickdown cable installed, tranny flush, replaced oil pan gasket, crank seal/timing cover gasket, oil cooler hose and bypass hose, new radiator cap and replaced the pulley assembly along with a oil change of course. It still leaks some and David has told me to bring it back down and he will take care of it but I just haven't had time. After David serviced it, he told me that the tranny was at 90%. That being said, the tranny takes a few seconds to engage when cold but once it is warm, it shifts out fine with no slipping, noise, etc. I do have some pics and will post links to them, if you guys want more info feel free to send me a message or call me at 678-858-9922. I am located in cartersville, ga which is about 45 minutes north of atlanta. Oh, the compression test revealed these results.

Plate says utah...if it was tx, it'd be in my driveway!

I will try and get some pictures up in a little while. There is only a little surface rust in a couple of spots. I will take pics of them. I saw your add for the 60's. Which one were you thinking of? Thanks.

I'm thinking the brown one, because I think the red one is going at the first of the week? But the good thing is I have a lift for that one as well...

Salt Lake City, Utah...

The hose going to the oil cap is from the amsoil bypass filter. Also, there is not much rust. The body was repainted not too long ago. I just replaced the valve guide seals, front brake calipers, and in the middle of changing out the rear deck lid. The truck purrs and is ready to go anywhere. This week I am replacing a few hoses and all the vacuum lines. Somebody come check it out!

Still for sale...
