Hi from Pakistan,
As my onward assignment in Central America won't allow import of vehicles over 10 yrs. old, the cruiser MAY be up for sale in Feb 06 in the Washington DC area.
I was hoping to get some insight on US pricing as I have been out of the loop overseas for a bit.
1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser
- 160K mi with full rebuild 1.5 yr ago
- H55F 5 spd. tranny 1.5 yr old.
- All Mechanicals are great, has been in storage for past one year (started every 2 weeks and moved spots)
- 2 in Old man emu lift
- The usual rust spots on rear fender
- New Michelin MTX 31in tires (less than 1000 mi)
- AM/FM/CD/MP3 with remote and rear speakers
- Aussie side mirrors
- Full tint
- New rubber floor mats (front/rear) from CCOT
- Some damage to rear gate when PO backed it into his garage when gate was open. Small dent near hinge, but door shuts flush.
I love this car and hate to sell, but the Nicaraguans won't let me import it tax free due to the age. I'm looking for a 97-99 4runner if anyone has one or is interested in a trade.
I'll work on some pics as well.

It was a frame off restoration with no expense spared I have $30,000 in reciepts. The Engine, tranny and the After Market stuff have about 17,000 miles.Here is the list of what shes got:

Everything works except A/C.Vehicle has 215,000. Motor Conversion done at 140,000 miles. 4x4 works and clutch grabs very well. Edelbrock Carb and Bilstein Shocks. Small amount of surface rust on rear wheel wells. Nothing major. Very common among early 80's LCs. I purchased this vehicle back in July 2005. Must sell now to get a new car for a new job. See pics at http://www.dillonmotors.com/inventory.htm. Great car to have a little love put in it to become a headturning Land Cruiser. And the 350 is a beast!
