I have too many projects and have had a hard time getting to this one, so I am putting it up for sale. This is a 1965 FJ45 truck, which has some modifications performed by the previous owner. They put a 350, 1-ton axles, power steering and an auto-tranny in it. The body is alright for the age and would make for a good restoration, modification or resto-mod. It comes with a lot of the original parts as well as some additional parts to take it back to original. The red bed in the pictures does not come with it as it is for a separate project that I am working on. There is rust in the typical areas, but not worse than normal. I have included some standard pictures in the listing, but also have this link for detailed pictures: <http://s1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd361/jschmi07/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16> Let me know if you are interested. Txt and email work best, but fee free to call as well. John 970-640-3603 jschmi71@hotmail.com <mailto:jschmi71@hotmail.com>

Is tho what a 1965 fj45 are selling for nowadays? What about an all stock one that that has mostly everything besides the air filter and the part running from the air filter to the carb. and some other parts that aren't obvious right away it looks to be 100% stock and some rust not a lot though. Oh and no headliner all the glass though. And some light rust on the ceiling of the cab the engine is clean inline 6 and original tranny... How much would that be worth with 50k on it

Are you angry.........

Its a long bed removable top land cruiser with a 1965 tag an inline 6 original tranny 51,??? Miles missing air filter to carb has the carb though not no obvious cancer the frame looked decent with some light surface rust. A pin type hitch instead of a ball mount no winch un the front bluish faded scratched paint it looks to be really easy to get running and the transmission looks to be in great shape. Missing a gas cap and a few, inches of due line. The owner put everything in the cab it has the emblems everywhere and the correct tail gate, all the glass seems to be in good condition including seals besides the seal for the back window that shrunk I think. That's all I can remember right now.

So does anyone know what the car I just described would be worth?

you should start your own thread here: FJ45 Owners Club

without pics it is hard to say, could be $1,000 all the way up to 12,000 non-running, sitting for who knows how long.
I'm skeptical, it seems as tho you are fishing for a price. because in the end it is worth what you want to pay for it.

I am curious because I dont want to spend go in thinking of a price that completely screws me over like 3k for a hunk of junk kind of screwing over

To put it into perspective I bought my 45 without a bed and a dead motor for ~$4k four years ago. It needed, and still needs work. As others have said, it is worth what you are willing to pay...but if it is close to what you describe, $3k is a deal worth pursuing.
