So that means tire shop dismount/rebalance. I really dislike directional tires for that reason.

Not so bad if you had them installed at Discount Tire, they will do it for free. Even better if your local discount tire is right across the street from the Big Biscuit !

Charged up the A/C today. All the seals in my gauges have gone bad so I just guessed on how much. It wasn’t empty so hopefully that means it will hold. Blowing cold for now. Wouldn’t mind hooking some gauges up to it and checking it. Anyone have gauges?

The AC in boost did not work yesterday, so I might need some of that gauge action.

I have an ac box of goodies/tote with vacuum pump as well.

Nothing exciting but replaced the hood insulator that was hanging down into the motor and also put exhaust insulators on. Neither one was cheap by the way.

I also fixed the 4wd drive system by installing the plaque. Now it’s full time 4wd again.

Been working on the fender flares. Had a couple of broken tabs. Read about a 3M Plastic Repair glue and thought I would give it a try. Sanded the areas and applied a couple of coats to build it up. The repairs are strong and seem like they will hold good. Easy fix so far.

Posting this here too as I have referenced the process we used to fill the holes left behind from removing the cladding on a couple other threads.

We used a 3M Panel Bonding adhesive and glued stainless steel squares over the holes from the inside. Once cured, we sanded down any of the 3M product that stuck out the hole and then put body filler over that. Worked really good. We also ground down the nutserts on the roof for the roof rack and filled with the 3M product and then sanded them flush and applied epoxy primer over that.

Finally got Pete to Colorado. Out here with the daughter for a few days and then meeting the rest of the family in Glenwood Springs and then more camping. Didn’t get everything done to Pete that I wanted too before the trip mostly due to working on the camping trailer that has worked out well.

Ate those Daisy 250 shot range model air rifles with a compass in the stock?

Those are the good old reliable Daisy Red Ryders. One of them is mine from when I was a kid. I think it shoots better then the new one.

My old one definitely shoots better than any of the new ones I bought for nieces and nephews.

Finally got the flares on. Pulled the fenders to put them on due to missing some hardware for the fenders from when I put it together last year. Made it a lot easier.

Also replaced the exhaust on it. Used the Bosal stuff. A lot quieter and didn’t break the bank.

With help from @2fpower we rebuilt my exhaust that was torn up in Colorado and routed the exhaust over the frame rail. No more rattling. I hate rattles.

Added some tailgate storage to Pete. Only doing one side. The other side is getting a 10” subwoofer installed in it. Was going to put the sub in the rear quarter panel but I picked up an ARB Twin Compressor (NIB) for a deal I couldn’t refuse. Going to mount the compressor, amp, inverter, and what ever else in the rear quarter panel. Most likely will add a 2 1/2 gallon air tank where the spare tire use to be.

Test fitted the sub in the hole for the storage and it will work great. Plenty of clearance around the sub. A friend is going to CNC out a speaker grill in 1/4” aluminum to better protect it.

Realized I never shared some videos from my last trip to Colorado on here.

Another one. It's a little long. And yes Kelly, some of the pictures are out of order.
