Great build, brake and repair thread. Good to see the Hundy gets used on the trails. Did you notice a big difference in stability when wheeling with the rooftop tent? How do you like the part-time kit?

Fun build thread. Totally missed it before now.

I think my dad may have followed behind you at a club event back in the Spring. I kept getting pictures of the "Flexus" from inside his green TJ. Between your truck and a JDM turbo diesel 80, he wants a Cruiser now 😁

Umm nah. It a bit more top heavy. But nothing has stopped me yet. Just have to be careful not to bash it on walls or what it haha. Pick your lines good. I loveeee the part time kit. I can do burn outs now haha. Honestly the only reason I did it was for torque steer. That has completely went way. And it’s super nice to have a 2 wheel drive low. On the trials. I would def recommended it.

Cliff notes on what’s new!!
So from where I last left off there was nothing “new” to report with the cruiser. Added a solar panel on top that’s about all. Then I went out a bought a 2019 stinger GTS. Have add lot to this so far haha. The stinger has basically gotten all the attention while the cruiser has been sitting.
I would still drive the cruiser ever now and then. But I have been getting check engine light for “misfire #1” put new coil, plug, fuel injector. Still get it. Did a compression check and leak down. And basically #1 cylinder is gone.... sooooo. Had been deciding on used or reman or rebuild. So I bit the bullet and did a reman one from aaa engine.

Also got some DT headers. They are very nice. Have run into some issues with them tho. First being. They only sent half the hardware for them. Second being the o2 bungs are completely in the wrong place from the factory headers. So we plugged the holes with bung nuts. Will weld them in to the pipes. As you can see if left in there the passenger side would o2 never be able to be replaced with out lots of work.

More random pictures. Had to grind the oil pan a bit for the oil pump plug. Disassembled and cleaned the intake.

So been getting a few messages about any updates on this. And I could have sworn I updated this but obviously I didn't. I sold this back in June it was on BAT. Heres the for sale link SOLD - No Reserve BAT. 2000 Lexus LX470 *Bulit* *3xLocked* *Overland* Then shortly after I bought a 200 series. Builds - 50 shades of gray, 2011 Land Cruiser Bulid So I'm still in the game. Just upgraded a little bit. But I will say this The bigger v8 is very nice. The biggest improvement is the transmission going from a 4 to a 6 speed is amazing. That alone was worth it. My only real complaint is no one has made a part-time kit for this yet. I do miss my 100 had a lot of fun and great memories in it hold's a certain place in my heart but on to a newer one. Sold it to a couple in Texas. They flew out here and drove it home. Anywho sorry I never updated this. But thank you 100 series forum for all the help! The pictures are from when we got it ready for selling some of the last ones I have of it.
