Alright folks we're in a bit of a dilemma..... do we have the raffle and catered BBQ on Friday so the folks competing for the "iron butt" award can attend both before having to start driving home Saturday afternoon?

Or

Do we do the FJTT burgers, dogs & brats on Friday with the raffle and keep the BBQ (that they are paying for with the registration) on Saturday?

Or

FJTT Friday, catrered BBQ & raffle Saturday??

I'm okay either way..... I'll be there no matter what. The situation is we have a few folks that'll have to leave before the dinner/raffle Saturday. We also have a few folks that are not able to make it down til late Friday and may not be there in time for the dinner/BBQ Friday.

Registrants please speak up. I'm sure we can work it either way. We've been i contact with the caterer and he's okay with Friday. I'm still waiting to hear back from the Trail Teams and the raffle can be done either night.

If ya get to grungy (sp?) you might consider a one-night stay at a hotel in town, if for no other reason than to use the shower.

OK, schedule question. I thought Registration was Wednesday and the event was Thur, Fri and Saturday. Thinking of leaving here Tuesday evening to get there weds at noon. Hate to be they only one there weds at noon, it seems most folks aren't coming unitil Thursday or even Friday.

Based on the above, do the runs start Thursday AM? Park open for us to camp weds?

Ken,

Registration opens up Wednesday evening. The campground will be open as well. You won't be alone in arriving on Wednesday - we'll probably get there mid-afternoon (travelling w/ a 10 month old, need I say more).

The runs will start Thursday AM.

The results of our poll (guaranteeeeedd perfect ) are:

BBQ - Friday 11 votes, Saturday 4 votes, Don't Care 11 votes

So, the Raffle and Event BBQ will be held Friday evening.

Showers - I've got an outside shower and shower tent that works good. We may have to figure out how to keep enough water in it, but we'll manage it.
