I ran my hazard lights for about and hour last week and it burned out the Flasher Relay. I got the new relay today and I started rooting around under the dash to figure out where it went. After unsuccessfully looking around for a few minutes I gave up and looked on the forum. I found a couple of vague pictures and instructions and I was able to find it.
Once you know where it is and how to access it, it's pretty easy to replace. Here's a detailed instruction complete with decent pics to help out the next guy
First, remove the cover under the driver's side dash board, 2 screws and a couple of snaps.
Next, remove the kick panel below the steering column, remove the 2 bolts in the lower corners (one is under a little door. Use a small screw driver to gain access.
Then grab hold of the panel just below the steering column and pull, the panel pops right off
You now have access to the Flasher Rely, look inside just to the left of the steering column
The 10mm nut is angled down slightly so use a ratchet extension and swivel adapter to gain a better angle. That's pretty much it, just unplug the electrical connection and pop the new one in, easy!
