Fj62 starter trigger

Should be this black/red stripe.correct?? We have very few 62 in Canada and this is honestly one of the first one have tinkered with.... that being said it I have installed the wrong engine do 62s have a starter relay like diesels???

Hey Dan!
Yup, that connector likely goes directly to the starter. No starter relays on the FJ60s or FJ62s .

Ok great that's what I though...... now I just have to figure out why I don't have 12v when I turn the key

Hmm after further digging..... using my meter on the ignition the yellowwith red strip is the trigger from there ends at this vacant plug
