I need some assistance with restoring my 62 to original condition. I've been at this for the past few months and I am down to the nitty gritty.

What I need is the Catalyst decal information on the passenger side firewall. Mine has been wiped clean at some point so there is just a blank white decal there now. I've considered just removing it all together but would prefer replacing it. Everything on this cruiser is original and in very ggod shape or it has been restored to original condition, so I'd prefer to do the same with the decals on the firewall.

I have an 88 fj62 that was purchased from a dealer in Colorado, not sure if that is important or matters. I've searched and searched and can only find info for 91 3fe engines nothing for 88-90. I have noticed that there is a alphanumeric double digit code in the lower right corner of the decal that seems to very depending on the vehicle. Thought maybe that code was specific to the year, not sure, just noticed differences.

I can have the decal printed if I can get some pictures of this decal. if some of you out there who have this vehicle could post a picture of this decal it would sure be helpful.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your picture it does help although it does appear to vary somewhat from the 1988. do you know what year the Idaho one is from? Oh wait, I see it says "for year 1990".

I found this one below, just cant make out everything but can make out the part that reads "applicable to 1988 model". Which is what I need if I could just make out the rest. Notice in the lower right hand corner the "LJ" on the one above and N6 on the one I attached below. It say conforms to U.S. EPA emission regulations as well but there is a little more information on it following the ignition timing section than there is on the two above from the 1990 models. I'm pretty sure the on below for 1988 is the one I'm after if I could get a clear picture of one just like this.

It really does. That is exactly what I was looking for. My wife can make a perfect replica of that. Much appreciated!

Ahh yes, the elusive 1988 Fj62 EVAP sticker. I do think this qualifies as "nitty gritty". I commend the OPs efforts towards a correct resto. I can post a pic of mine if you need further verification.

This warrants rig pix...

Sorry, wasnt suggesting that I have a fully restored Cruiser, quite the contrary. It was a champagne metallic one that I had painted super white, then added graphics, suspension and lots of trail damage.

It does still have this sticker which I think is pretty cool...

Thanks for the help. I wasn't sure I'd get much response and am very pleased that there was such a quick effort to help. I'll post some pictures very soon. I am going to get the decals printed and get the rig cleaned up again and will post some pics. Thanks for the help and interest.

Hi RJC...I've just begun the process of restoring my 88 FJ and wonder if your wife did replicate that sticker?
