Get an Interstate from Costco or an Everstart Platinum from Walmart. Best values. Or a DEKA, American-made from East Penn mfg. Google for dealers.
I bought a Deka not too long ago from an Autozone on Sepulveda in Culver City. I'd call to see if they can get a 27M, which is the stock battery but double check.

Apparently Walmart changed manufacturers for their batteries within the past year or two, and the Everstarts are not what they used to be. I'd probably go Deka/East-Penn.

I may get flamed for this, but I use the Optima Red AGM for my FJ62 and other family vehicles. Red has the most cranking amps. In my climate, batteries typically die within three years. Optimas have lasted seven to ten years. I also have the optima deep cycle charger/tender and it has helped prolong these batteries.

Do you do anything special for charging?
AGMs require 14.6-14.8 to fully charge. That's more than the stock LC Alternator puts out.
I have a Blue-top Optima in my Jeep TJ that's almost 15 years old, but I put it on a Noco Genius AGM charger when I'm not driving it to get the proper float. Still at about 70% capacity

Similar to you, I use the OPTIMA Batteries Digital 400 12 Volt Battery Maintainer and Charger
I use Optima 31 Blue tops in my 40 & 60 with C Tek battery charger hooked up 100% of the time when parked. Both batteries are about 4 years old.
FYI: Optima has also been bought by Johnson controls. If you really want to spend $$$ on an ultra high end battery, check out Odyssey batteries.
I use the Napa gold series. Good price I’ve been real happy I’m going on year 5-6.

One of the reasons I went with an AGM is the gel mat inside. Supposed to help minimize leaky acid aftermath.
If most of your driving is around town, buy a yellow top or red top if you do milage computing. You don't have to worry about checking fluid and they don't corrode the battery cable clamps. They do require a different battery charger (AGM) than a standard charger and if you try and charge one with a standard charger, it will indicate the battery is dead, instead of low power requiring charging. I have a red top in my Subaru that has lasted several years with no problems and when tested at the dealer, battery has always tested full power. I have a 1,000 amp red top on my truck and it's performing well. I have no reservations in buying another and another will be my new battery. FWIW, I've run the X2's and two of them are about 6 years old and still fine. had to replace one this week that I drained to nothing waaaay too many times. (6 years old).
on that note, the Batteries Plus counter person said the X2 is a rebranded Odyssey with a better warranty.
