The reason I didn't update the instructions is that I really don't know exactly where 62 owners are placing the new cable. If you would be willing to send me a picture of the location, I would appreciate it. I could include that in my instructions.

I just finished replacing the thrashed stock cables in my '85 FJ60 with a set of Fourrunner's HD cables. They're burly, very well made, and a huge improvement over what I was running. The 1/0 cable he uses has a way of making everything around it seem inadequate...

I PM'ed Fourrunner on a Friday night, and he had the cables promptly shipped on Monday. Clear instructions came in the box and I followed them without issues. The "string" method for the positive lead works well.

Note for other 60 owners - the negative ground cable that runs from body to pass side motor mount is really the only pain. You can't exactly lay eyes on the 17mm nut on the motor mount until you've got it off and in your hand. But a ratchet with a shorter socket will definitely squeeze in there from the back and if you go by feel it'll all work out.

This is actually my first post here, after a long time lurking while I searched for a 60. Now I've got one and it's nice to have my introduction be something other than "HELP!" I'll save that for a later date...

What modifications need to be done to install these? Would it be possible for you to send me a copy of the instructions so I can decide on wether to buy your cables?

Tried to send a PM, but looks like you are popular or something. Send me an email at mguisinger (at) gmail (dot) com and we can discuss payment details, etc.

Do you have any of these kits fab'd-up for an HJ60? :)

x2. I'm looking for something similar for my HJ60.. No canadian with good electrical skills and some free time...

Just got my set in from Mark. I have never seen a better set of cables for a cruiser. The auto parts store sets are junk quality in Comparison. I didn't need to replace my cables. But if your gonna drop a $150 plus on a top quality battery you might as well have an equally good delivery system. Thanks Mark for quick response and service.
