Yeah. Exactly. I've got some NOS mud flaps for $800, too. For people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Twice I ordered the O'Reilly Heater core and twice it was the wrong unit in the correct box. I gave up. But this was in the Los Angeles area. Might have different stock elsewhere.

That's likely to be the case as I'm betting all boxes are marked wrong from manufacturer

Old thread, but anyone use the CCOT heater core? Any luck? I plan on soldering my pipes, but I'd hate to get something new that leaks.

You don't have a choice. OE and OEM are long NLA. I used one from Cruiser Corps, it was made in Mexico, and it seemed like good quality and works fine. I didn't know CCOT offered one.

I meant Cruiser Corps not CCOT. Thanks for catching that! It's probably not worth the cost to have my original re-cored. When I took it out yesterday, I thought it was the o-rings that were leaking like everyone says, but everything was dry on top, the leak was at the bottom of the core. I guess I'll be ordering one from Cruiser Corps today.

Thanks!

Yes CCorps one is good. I *think* it's the one that used to be sold as Murray, Spectra, 4Seasons, etc ... Those were all made in Mex so I'm guessing there's not five different places all making them. Price is now double what they used to be, but so is a Micky D's burger :meh:

They ship quickly too and item is well protected. Good luck.
