@DickM
I saw those and reviewed their website. Why does it say FJ60 only and up to 87? Why not a 62? I thought our bodies and A Pillar were the same? Am I missing something?

Yes, we do have the grab handle. There are even threaded holes on the passenger side behind the headliner so the passenger has one now too. Gauges are greater than the grab handle.

So is the jury still out on these pillar pods? I am finally at the place to begin with aftermarket gauges and apparently the PO of my rig was a smoker and there is what seems to be a cig burn on my pillar right where somebody holding a stogie woulda burnt the pillar portion of the felt. LOL... perfect!

Why does it stop at 87? Does it not fit a 62?

Yes, it should fit a 62 (FAIK) but you may have to remove the grab handle (depending on how you mount the Pod). You could probably keep the Grab Handle if you used a 2-Pod pillar. Autometer has a generic one that I used and it fits fine on the 60-series A-pillar.

I'm going to switch to the 3-pod 'cuz I want to add an Oil Pressure (electrical) gauge.

@Spike Strip, do you have the part number for the Autometer 2 pod pillar? Any pics?

I looked and searched thru my Amz orders and email but I can't find it... It was posted here on MUD in a thread I can't find at the moment...

Maybe you'll have more patience to search than I.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but did anyone ever end up solving the dual pod A pillar problem? The generic 2 pod pillar from glowshift leaves a lot to be desired
