Anyone out there have a copy of a wiring schematic for the 55?

I tried to search for it but all of the links seem to be dead.

Post a link or email, thanks

I have the factory wiring manual for the 77 model years, and the haynes manual. Their wiring diagrams seem to be spot on. I'm not sure how to scan them into the pooter yet, but will get to crackin on that after work this afternoon. What circuits are you interested in?

I have a '76 diagram but it's marked up with the additions/deletions for the 3B install.

Specifically I am looking for what comes out of the steering column stalk. Ingnition wires, turn signals and headlights.

I was worried about the rear window, relay and breaker but there is another thread on the board with a pretty good write up and diagram.

THANKS!!!

Not sure from your avatar/sig line what year is your Iron Pig. Is it a 69, 73, or 77?
On my 77, I have a plug connector w/ 4 big wires for the ig. $witch- white w/blue stripe>black w/red stripe; black w/yellow stripe>black w/yellow; black w/white>black w/white: and blue w/red>blue w/red. The blue/white//black/red are battery hot to the ig.$. The black/yellow are keyed 12v to your coil, the black/white hits your starter motor, and blue/red are your accessory circuit, AKA wiper fuse.
There is a six pin connector for the turn signal switch. These go from chassis end of harness;
green w/black>green (FLT); green>green w/ blue (this is going to the hazard $ and I think is for the brakes); green w/black>green w/black (RLT); green w/yellow>gree w/red (horn); green w/yellow>green w/orange (RRT); green w/yellow>green w/yellow (FRT). I guess they ran out of color options at the factory.
Next is a connector w/three wires for the dimmer. Again, from chassis end>column end:
red w/yellow>red w/yellow (high beam); red w/green stripe>red w/green (lo beam); and red w/white>white w/black (from HL$). These are from the toyota electrical manual and confirmed in the field w/ my recently filleted and exposed wiring harness. FYI, the haynes book has the EXACT same one line diagrahm, if that helps. I'm having dicknical tefficulties w/ my NTM printer/scanner.
Hope that helps.

I forgot the little loner green with a white stripe that has a bullet connector terminating to a green with white stripe. Not sure what that's doing, as I have closed the book :beer: already!!!
Let me know if you want more...

Awesome, this is what I needed. Thanks a bunch

What if you cut it in half? I am technologically deficient and can't scan what I got, But if you can, I'm sure someone would be GRATEFUL! (spelling intentional).
