I recently purchased a FJ55 1973 Toyota Landcruiser Pickup. The vehicle was given to Toyota South Africa to refurbish but they do not have spares that I require urgently to make the vehicle road worthy at least! I am looking for the following, rather urgently:

1. Window Regulators - driver and passenger side
2. Window rubbers - flat strip - inside and outside (driver and passenger side as well)
3. Seat Bench (front - there is no back seat for this vehicle as it's a pickup)

Please, please if anyone can assist, I can also be emailed at skoekemoer@mweb.co.za

Pic's??

No one has heard of an FJ55 pickup.

Yes, please. We will need pictures of it to fully understand which parts you require:D. Check in the classified section of the main page of the Iron Pig Preservation Society page...and please post those pictures!

These are pictures of the inner and outer window regulators that I am looking for. Pictures of the vehicle to follow!

Those look like early '40 series regulators. Definitely not like any '55 series I've ever seen.

Agreed. We will need the picture of the rig to verify which series you are referring to. It is possible that you are going to aquire an FJ45 pickup truck, which shares many features as the FJ40 series(classic Cruiser).

There is not a whole lot of "55 series" in that bottom picture.:D

Here is what an Fj55 series looks like...It was a wagon...

Ah. You have a 45 series pickup. The 45 section is just above the 55 section here.

they can help much better than us. Plenty of parts to be had

Yep 45 series.

Thanks guys for all the input - we just also received confirmation regarding the confusion around the motor that is a FJ155 series and the American equivelent to this series which is the FJ45 - so you were all right :).

The vehicle specialist over this side has cleared the confusion and has confirmed the parts for the FJ45 series that he has. I will post shortly with regards to any other spares we might need.

Dood, is that real or a chop job(photochop)? I have got piglet truck on the brain...

From the look of the lines on the roof I would think its a photoshop job. The lines don't even come close.

I was thinking there is no room in the back seat. look how close it is to the rear of the front seat, unless the driver is very tall and that is the front seat.

Yeah thats true. That wouldn't even leave room for small kiddos or dogs.
