Comrades.
I've been working on the rough cut edit of the FJ55 documentary STEEL SOUL. As some know, the center of the film is Jason "Scorcher1967" Brownhill's extraordinary restoration of my rust-ridden pig. But the larger story explores the mysteriously powerful and sometimes utterly illogical attraction of the FJ55 Landcruisers, something even we pig owners can't fully understand.
I've got some great interviews but now I need some footage of the real stars of the show. So no matter how it was shot - super 8 film, smartphone, camcorder, whatever - if you have any exciting or just cool movie clips of pigs-at-play I would love to see if I can work them into the film. This goes for any other interesting, fun shots of your pig. For example, your kids climbing all over it, or your pig in some unusual, remote location, or whatever! It might be a standalone shot or part of a sequence of pig shots I'm intercutting with a scene shot earlier of TJ reading "The Story of the Iron Pig" to his son Cash.
Keep the clips short (movie time goes a lot slower than real time) The easiest way to get them to me is by getting a free Dropbox account and downloading your .mov, mpeg4, qt, etc clips to the Steel Soul folder using the link below.
Dropbox uses external servers so that more than one person can access files - it's really handy to share bigger files with people. It took me about 10mins to install including download time and my connection is slow today. After your account is set up use this link to access the Steel Soul Pics and Movies folder:

If you can email me at ecouv@mac.com to let me know you are planning to send a clip that would be great. Emailing is better than conversationing (previously known as private messaging) cause I'll get it quicker. Any questions add them here cause if you're wondering, others are probably wondering the same thing too.
Rusted, beat up, or lovingly restored. Stock or tricked out every which way possible. If it's a pig doing something cool (yes pigs don't have to do anything to be cool but you know what I mean) it needs to be in this movie.
