I’m so mad…. My painter lost my transmission tunnel cover…. Anyone have one?? I think they are different than FJ40 and FJ45 pickups? Even if it’s rough I’ll take it as I need something

I might have 45 SWB cover (it was cut for a 3-speed by a PO) but it depends on the answer to the question above and below.

Does anyone definitively know if there’s a difference in the size of a US Spec 40 or 45 SWB or 45 LWB transmission tunnel cover?

What year is your 45 SWB cover? Only thing I know is in mid-'63 or so they changed shape a bit because the tranny went from the side shift type to the top shift type.

Good to know. I'm not surprised, I have a 63 tunnel cover from a 40 that I plan to use on my LV. Sounds like I will be doing some metal work to make it fit. But hey, what's new......it's an LV.....right. What's a little sheet metal work.

I need one for a 63 fj45 shorty. Do you think you have one? My truck is a column shift but could fill in hole easily if floor mount. Could you send me a photo if you still have it and wan to sell it?

If someone more knowledgeable than myself could answer the following question:

Does anyone definitively know if there’s a difference in the length, width and fit of a US Spec 40 or 45 SWB or 45 LWB transmission tunnel cover?

The cover I have is with me in CO and my trucks are in VA. Otherwise I could answer the question myself.
