they are, i am talking about spring hangers for a shackle reversal.
maybe I'm missing it, why not use the existing ones made for 40's? I've got several from LCAH, I'd sell or other manufactures make 'em.

Charles, can you post some closeup pics from the front of the sill? I want to compare it to mine.
What are you going to ask him to make?
How are you planning on re-fitting it to the truck. Where will the reattachment points be? It is really hard to tell exactly what you removed. Is it equal left and right? Will the new piece have the curved parts left and right? Base on the way the truck was put together and the way you had to take it apart, will the new piece look like it was installed at the factory? It looks like a piece I would be interested in, but not sure what it would cost and how long I would have to wait.
Still no news from Ehsan?
I have the original aluminum sills off my LV. They are similar to the ones shown in the pics from the 55, but a little slimmer if I recall.
Yes the wiring runs under on the LV. No there is no wide part of the sill. FWIR it was just a hump with enough metal on the side to screw it to the floor using small sheet metal screws, which of course were rusted and stripped out. A real PIA to get those out for being such a small item.
i would be interested in some pics of what you two are talking about...
