Hi! I just purchased a 1964 fj45 swb with a non removable top. I can't find much info about them. I am wondering what original exterior emblems go on this rid. It has the front side landcruiser emblems and a factory stamped front plate. Was there any emblems on the back of the bed like whats found on the lwb fj45's??? (4X4, landcruiser ect.) i would love some advice. Here is a picture. thanks, joe

There is a stock sticker on the back of the channel on a swb removable top that is very similar to the sticker on the back of the LV. it was originally 'reflective" in nature. I don't have my camera at home to take a picture of it right now. There were also "reflectors" mounted on the bed which I think were added when they were imported.

fj45

Thanks for the sowing me the link with all the pictures on it. My fj is just like the tan 1963. Mines a year older and little uglier!!! The fj in the picture had no emblems on the back that I could see?
I don't know if I want stock it out or go custom? It has a 350 eng. 300 trans and power steering so stock stoke is really not an option. But where do I go from here????

no kiddin? I have never seen that....pics someday? :)

What do I do with it???

Where do I find some stock rims or something close?? Please give feed back on truck. This is my first fj 40 ish. I ussually build fj62's. Do I stay stock or go more custom???? I bought it with a chev 350 eng and auto tras and power steering.

My suggestion would be to post in the Parts wanted section for rims, you can also buy them new I think from Toyota. There are the obvious vendors like Spector offroad, etc. who may also have used.

If you plan to wheel it you could get some steel wheels from Summit Racing for cheap. Just my opinion but the mags look weird.

2nd scan above is the correct version for what you have, your 63 is one of the fixed top but also fixed window frame versions, unlike the fixed top which the window frame has hinges

nice 45, where in WA did it come from, can't say I have seen that one

another for your version

Thanks guys

Thanks for all the info and pictures. Do yo have any more pics of the local green one. I noticed that one had a stamped bezel like mine. A couple guys have said that's rare??? I will take as much advice as I can get. Thanks, joe

can't find anymore, but its in Tacoma WA someplace, Dan or Don, lost touch with him.

yes the stamped bazel is rare(there are repro's out there, not metal AFAIK), 63(maybe some 64's) was last used(40's as well)
