Mostly been dialing things in. I had the realization that the only thing mechanically original to the truck is the front differential and axle housing plus the rear axle. Everything else is either from a newer fj40 or aftermarket, and those axles are about to replace with 79 axles so I can install a parking brake. That being said there’s a lot of details that need to be worked out but aside from a fuel pump quitting and brake preload being too tight it’s been pretty flawless. Did finally get the fj62 wheels on with some new rubber.
Also swapped out all the bulbs with diodes dynamic bulbs to just add a little touch to it.
Mostly been busy getting my LS FJ62 ready for camping season. With 350k these axles were overdue to get some fresh ones installed front and rear along with better performing brakes.
