Cool.
Looks like a nice smooth surface for the spline seal. Should help keep the s***e out.
Have you driven with it yet? Hope this one is vibration free!

I remember my first run with you and the new drive shaft, damn that thing was a horrible vibration. Prolly would of taken some bearings out over time.

Looking good champ...

Some more goodies came today. This is the long range tank from Man-A-Fre. This is a stainless steel tank which I thought was aluminum, but no biggy. I will try to install it this weekend, modifications to the seats need to be made. This takes my fuel capacity from 62 L to 105L.

Got them done at Island Torgue Converter, talk to royce. The cv side has to be drilled out to bigger bolt size. the diff side has multi flange so no drilling. also the cv side is the rectangle size pattern.

Nice tank, you think its stainless? If so thats much better than aluminum.

:p

Now onto the fun stuff. I spent all weekend installing the fuel tank. I don't know if the difficulties I had where because that my tub has been modified so many times and my seats are far from stock.

The fuel tank is not light so if you try this you may want extra hands. The directions are vague, but it should be self explanatory. The tank fits snuggle between the B pillars. You gain some leg room on the passenger side but loose it on the drivers side between seat and pedals. When I get the new tub I plan to move it back further. The filler neck can be a bugger also, I'm gonna change the clamps to a Tbar style so I can sinch it up harder. I had a little leak when I filled her up last night. So on to the pics.

So I finally got around to fixing the leaking fuel tank, I must have lost at lease 2L. So it turns out that all the screws need to be in the fuel sender. Also use sealant on the bolts cause there is a gap that the fuel can get buy. I used sealant on bolts and the flange and no leaks so far. I also started my new rear bumper which I'll post later.

nice... no more hauling jerry cans...

So here is some preliminary pictures of how I plan to mount the rear bumper using six 1/2" grade 8 bolts in a double shear configuration.

Nothin' like welding under a truck using the abs to hold yourself upright fresh after an appendix removal eh?

Looks good man!
