Was it previously modified for a different power train? I noticed the drivers motor and bell housing mounts are missing. Also I don’t see a steering box pedestal.
“Better than new”. All those dimples arent from severe corrosion, they were painstakingly put into the steel with a ball peen hammer to strengthen the steel and improve aerodynamics, like the dimples on a golf ball. Better than new.

This is an online, mostly text based forum. I have to remind myself all the time that nuance, metaphors, and general "just busting balls" does not translate well. Same with txt messages via my phone.

So, lets hope that you are not being an a****** here and are just having a laugh. You are here to sell something. You chose a forum full of experts who know EXACTLY what they are looking at and are providing you with valuable feedback, for free. Feedback is not a personal attack.

Looking at your pics, I see a later tub and top sides. What's the story with this frame?

GLWS
I have multiple FJs. I think about 14 in the last year. So those pics are not from this frame. This frame has been at the powder coaters for so long actually I can’t really remember it. I’m selling because my next builds are a 76 and 78. I was going to do a 1970 and use this but I acquired a few others and my intent changed.

I believe it was modified for a 350. Everything seems to be modified and then I have to modify it back for an F or 2F. The frame is at my fabricators so I can have those put on if interested. We do enough of them that I’m sure I can find the parts. It really depends on the buyers intent.

Ok, thanks.

Im not sure you actually know what you are talking about. It’s so easy to sound brilliant on the Internet. That frame has been completely restored, gone over, and coated more effectively than it ever was new. Severe corrosion?

This frame certainly does not have “severe corrosion”. Guess there is no test required to be an “expert” on this forum- or perhaps just in your case.

Ok, thanks.
Just to help your sale, and I’m glad you are posting parts for sale so other Land Cruisers can live on.
If you post a photo of what you are selling make sure it’s the right part offered. Just so there is no confusion and the sale might go quicker. Almost 40 years trading parts for me, and our super quick internet today beats using a Polaroid camera. Show it like you see it, John Pardi TLCA #1561
Good Luck With Your Sale
